<p>BERKSHIRE HILLS REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT</p> <p>Great Barrington Stockbridge West Stockbridge</p> <p>Employment Opportunity</p> <p>05/13/2025</p> <p>Position: School Psychologist</p> <p>(MBRES, DBRMS, MMRHS)</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>BA/BS or higher with a Massachusetts certification as a school psychologist and a certificate or license from the National Association of School Psychologists as a school psychologist preferred, or, a certificate or license from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Mental Health Professionals as an educational psychologist. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a school psychologist.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Demonstrated success in providing a comprehensive range of services to support student learning, social development and mental and behavioral health K-12 (including PD and up to age 22). Demonstrated success in collaboration and consultation with educators, families, administrators, and other professionals to help create safe, healthy and supportive learning environments for all students. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Second language skills (Spanish) are desirable. Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed records and to ensure compliance with state and federal educational standards and regulations. Other qualifications as established by the District.</p> <p>Demonstrated success with the following:</p> <ul> <li>Utilization of varied methods of assessment and data collection for identifying strengths and needs of individual students, development of effective services and programs, and measuring progress and outcomes. This includes a wide-range of psychological assessment procedures including cognitive, academic, social-emotional and behavioral assessments. </li><li>Consultation and collaboration with colleagues, students, families and community partners to promote effective implementation of services that enhance the well-being of students, including provision of a wide-range of counseling services. </li><li>Collaboration in the development and implementation of practices and strategies to create and maintain effective and supportive learning environments for children and others, including but not limited to positive behavior interventions and supports. </li><li>Data collection and analysis of student data to identify needs of the student population, and engage with administration, school personnel and community organizations to identify preventative and responsive services tailored to the needs of students. </li><li>Implementation and evaluation of services that respond to culture and context and facilitate family and school partnerships and interactions with community agencies for enhancement of academic and social-behavioral outcomes for children. </li><li>Work with school-based teams to implement effective crisis preparation, prevention and responses, remediation of academic and behavior problems, and improve culturally appropriate family school collaboration. </li><li>Provide effective professional services with attention to the wide range of cultures and backgrounds of the diverse Berkshire Hills community. </li><li>Provide services consistent with ethical, legal and professional standards; engage in responsive ethical and professional decision-making; apply professional work characteristics needed for effective practice as school psychologists including respect for human diversity, social justice, equity and inclusion through demonstration of effective communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, responsibility, adaptability, initiative, dependability and technology skills. </li></ul> <p>Starting Date: August 25, 2025</p> <p>Application Deadline: June 5, 2025 preferred (remaining open until filled)</p> <p>To Apply: Please use the following link to complete and submit an application packet: https://bhrsd.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx</p> <p>(A complete packet includes: application, resume, certification information, college/university transcript and 3 written letters of reference.)
