This person will deliver and pick up finished aluminum materials and products while providing excellent customer service.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>CDL-B: Drive commercial motor vehicles in excess of 26,001lbs</p> </li><li> <p>Understand and ensure consistent compliance with all federal, state and local laws / regulations, and company policies / procedures regarding the FMCSA.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform upkeep on equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.</p> </li><li> <p>Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain signatures for delivered goods</p> </li><li> <p>Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Consistently provides prompt and courteous service to customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate to customers and coworkers in a clear and professional manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Secure cargo for transport, using straps, blocks, chain, binders, or tarps and protect materials from weather, as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and reports any safety issues immediately.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain company equipment inside/out in order to ensure both cleanliness and safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have effective communication skills in order to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and to write routine reports and correspondence.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to interact in person with coworkers and the public.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate forklift to move materials</p> </li><li> <p>Move raw material into inventory once receiving is complete.</p> </li><li> <p>Consolidate material in pan, rack, and arm locations to make space available for new inventory.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist receiving with unloading incoming raw material.</p> </li><li> <p>Return and restock material to inventory.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the cleaning duties to ensure a clean facility</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to handle high stress situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be efficient with all electronic devices ie; cell phones, tablets, computers, etc.</p> </li></ul> <p>REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS STATEMENT</p> <p>To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
