<ul> <li>Maintains/updates training manuals, promoting standardized, quality care </li><li>Orients all clinical staff, including providers, to the electronic health record and the required documentation </li><li>Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational needs of staff within practices </li><li>Plans and develops initiatives to meet quality reporting measures </li><li>Demonstrates professional leadership in nursing practice and serves as a role model to staff members providing clinical care, including RNs, LPNs, and CMAs </li><li>Conducts and/or coordinates access to educational programs for all clinical staff as needed </li><li>Evaluates and assesses clinical competencies for all clinical staff; provides instruction to staff for competency development </li><li>In conjunction with supervising clinician and practice manager, evaluates performance of clinical staff </li><li>Demonstrates proficiency in computerized clinical informatics and EHR systems </li><li>Travels to multiple practices for follow up with newly oriented staff when required and directed </li><li>Attends and participates in practice clinical staff meetings as requested by the practice manager; presents standardized materials to clinical staff and/or managers as necessary </li><li>Functions as a staff nurse when training and/or other initiatives are not in progress, or when directed </li><li>Engages in other projects and functions upon request </li><li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing </li><li>Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, RN preferred </li><li>Basic Life Support Certification for Health Care Providers </li><li>Experience and proficiency with current office technology and proficient with computer office applications (including: Electronic Medical/Health Records, MS Office, etc.) </li><li>Three to five years recent nursing experience in the outpatient setting </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills </li></ul>
