PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INTERNAL WORKDAY CAREER SITE</p> <p>Join Our Community of Food People!</p> <p>BASIC PURPOSE</p> <p>To provide a safe and reliable fleet by performing preventative maintenance and proper repairs on all fleet equipment.</p> <p>Currently offering a $7,500 retention bonus paid out over two years.</p> <p>Tool allowance included to support your trade.</p> <p>Our Reefer Mechanics start at $35.66</p> <ul> <li> <p>401K with 2% automatic company contribution plus company match up to an additional 6%.</p> </li><li> <p>Medical Benefits Start Day One!</p> </li><li> <p>We offer weekly pay, low-cost Medical, Dental, and Vision for Family Coverage.</p> </li><li> <p>Paid vacation time, sick, and personal time.</p> </li><li> <p>Employee uniforms provided.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong Safety Culture, newer equipment, and excellent local leadership.</p> </li></ul> <p>Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel reefer equipment (THERMO KING & CARRIER TRAILER REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS, Reefer Microprocessors, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Perform preventative maintenance within manufacturer standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned by manager.</p> </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISION:</p> <ul> <li>N/A </li></ul> <p>RELATIONSHIPS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Internal: All Fleet Technicians, Drivers, Coordinators and Manager.</p> </li><li> <p>External: Dealer Service Managers.</p> </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Onsite: The associate in this role is expected to perform assigned responsibilities inside a US Foods maintenance facility. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
