<p>Responsible for assisting nursing students, using supplemental instruction, and programming, to develop cognitive and career-readiness skills that prepare students to successfully complete the Nursing Program and pass the NCLEX-RN. This position works with students to identify their strengths, learning styles, and areas requiring further development, and to develop and implement remediation plans as needed.</p> <ul> <li>Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN/MS) from an accredited institution </li><li>Minimum of  2 years of current clinical experience  </li><li>Must possess current and active Illinois and Indiana Registered license(RN) licenses in good standing. </li><li>Current CPR certification. </li><li>Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Evidence of ongoing continuing nursing education, particularly in the area of clinical expertise. </li><li>Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings and college activities. </li><li>Commitment to classroom instruction, laboratory instruction, and clinical supervision of students. </li><li>Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Fundamentals and/or medical -surgical experience preferred. </li><li>Previous teaching experience in a nursing program preferred. </li></ul> <p>STATUS/SALARY:                        </p> <p>This is a regular full-time faculty position.  Salary will be  determined based on placement within the  faculty salary schedule and is commensurate with education and experience.  </p> <p>Courses may be offered during daytime, evening, and weekend hours as needed</p> <p>ANTICPATED START DATE: August 2026</p> <p>APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until Filled</p> <p>APPLICATION PROCEDURE:     Please submit letter of application, resume, and transcripts to https://www.ssc.edu/jobs</p>
