They will perform analysis of marketing campaigns to evaluate and improve various marketing programs. The role will run various reports to track effectiveness, identify new leads, and pinpoint opportunities to target and increase sales to marketing initiatives requested across the company. The database marketing analyst will also be responsible for monitoring the database to make sure data is updated in a timely fashion. The role will have access to the most complex functions behind the marketing process for the company.</p> <p>You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing marketing applications with minimal supervision. </li><li>Collaborate with business partners and management to strategically plan and improve processes to drive better campaign results and increase sales revenues. </li><li>Develop advanced analysis to understand lead management and campaign performance to executive leadership in a meaningful way </li><li>Contribute critical support in the day-to-day execution of marketing tools, which includes all aspects of campaign management via SQL, databricks and database analysis. </li><li>Work with Data Warehouse and other teams to source new data and identify and resolve database and data warehouse system issues that impede data extraction, manipulation and interpretation. </li><li>Understand table structures, field and update processes of the database and analyzes areas for organization and improvement. </li><li>Create processes and scripts to improve the speed and efficiency of data extraction for direct marketing campaigns. </li><li>Create and maintain procedures for interacting with databases and other internal systems. </li><li>Perform a variety of miscellaneous database marketing-related tasks as assigned. </li><li>Assists in training to help build a high-performance analyst team that is comfortable managing increased responsibility and campaign diversity. </li><li>Keeps management informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach. </li></ul> <p>What Are We Looking For:</p> <p>To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years' experience in campaign management, data extraction and list or lead generation. </li><li>BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Experience in database marketing, including managing large data sets and working in campaign management systems </li><li>5+ years demonstrated knowledge of SQL Server and/or other relational database technology, specifically writing complex queries and stored procedures </li><li>Strong data mining skills and the ability to apply intuition to results </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines </li><li>Disciplined, analytical but creative thinker and problem solver </li></ul> <p>In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Fully access and understand data sources for use in analysis including but not limited to Adobe Campaign Classic, Alteryx, SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, CRM, COGNOS, Segment, Databricks and other systems within the company </li><li>Hands-on computer experience with proficiency in all modules of Microsoft Office required with Excel Expertise </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills required </li><li>Strong communication skills; ability to coherently interact with various departments and levels of management </li></ul> <p>HGV was awarded four out of five stars for fostering a culture of work-life balance and family-friendly benefits, and is one of Newsweek's "America's Greatest Workplaces for Parents & Families."
