<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>Production Associate on the Mainframe line Salt Lake City, UT. Employee will help to assemble Elite C-Arm systems on the Salt Lake City Mainframe line. Employee will do so by following work instructions and using tools including torque tools, battery operated torque guns, hand tools, and force gauges. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform entry to mid-level manufacturing/assembly operations on our production line and other various tasks following procedures, work instructions, and process aid sheets.</p> </li><li> <p>Use lift platforms, hoist, torque tools, and other power hand tools to assemble our X-ray machines.</p> </li><li> <p>Read and follow work procedures, receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain daily production output.</p> </li><li> <p>Cross train and work in multiple functions for business flexibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all EHS and Quality policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>May participate in quality control inspections.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with EHS regulations and policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with attendance policies and be willing to work voluntary overtime when needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to see small assembly parts</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma/GED or equivalent or 6 months of line manufacturing experience with mechanical or electromechanical assembly.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.</p> </li><li> <p>You must be willing to work out of our office located in Salt Lake City, Utah daily, Monday - Friday.</p> </li></ul> <p>Desired Characteristics</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of 2 years of related manufacturing experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in medical manufacturing or other highly regulated industry preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated basic computer skills and ability to navigate online instructions.</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-SAM1</p> <p>#LI-ONSITE</p> <p>#LI-SLC</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>GE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
