<p>"</p> <p>The Human Resources Coordinator assists the Human Resources department and company employees in the areas of payroll, benefits, and new employee orientation.</p> <p>\n\n\n\n\n</p> <p>New Employee Orientation</p> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Works with new employees to obtain paperwork required to begin employment such as I9 forms and policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Answers basic questions regarding company information related to on-boarding </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <p>Payroll</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Processes day to day payroll transactions including new hires, terms, garnishments, tax levies, employment changes, timecard edits, etc.</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Handles attestations, make up time and meal penalties</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Audits and identifies employees non-compliant with meal and rest periods regulations</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Processes payroll according to established procedures</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Supports the HR Generalists with the resolution of pay issues</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Creates HR related report for various departments and management</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Works in conjunction with the Payroll and Benefits Manager to administer the Human Resources Information System</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Processes manual checks</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Handles EDD Wage Audits and verifications of employment</p> <p>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Department Administration</p> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Manages employee files and administers off-site storage of employee records </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Compiles new employee orientation packets </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Maintains certain aspects of the HRIS system related to employee classifications, documents, and on-boarding/termination </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Compiles company organization charts </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Conducts candidate reference checks </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates the placement and release of agency temporary employees </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Extracts employee data from the HRIS and compiles reports in response to special requests from leadership and Finance/Accounting </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Employee Events</p> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Develops and coordinates employee events </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Develops and administers department and employee competitions </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <p>Front Desk Support</p> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Provides back up support for the front desk HR Assistant. </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Delegates and oversees various administrative HR projects to the HR Assistant </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <p>This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Salary range:</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <p>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Understanding of basic human resource related laws and regulations \n </li><li>Understanding of basic wage and hour laws \n </li><li>Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills \n </li><li>Basic proficiency with Visio \n </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills \n </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <p>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent \n </li><li>Minimum of one year related experience \n </li></ul> <p>\n</p> <p>\n</p> <p>Salary range: $22.90 - $28.62</p> <p>\n\n\n\n\n</p> <p>\n\n\n\n\n</p> <p>\n\n\n\n"</p>
