You will leverage your extensive knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to oversee multiple complex projects and initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the primary decision maker for your teams and act as a catalyst for innovation and solution delivery.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives </li><li>Makes decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures </li><li>Carries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations </li><li>Delivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains </li><li>Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams </li><li>Champions the firm's culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise </li><li>Proven experience of leading a team of engineers to deliver mission critical projects </li><li>Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists </li><li>Hands-on practical to manage tech resources and guide them in tech architecture, design and coding best practices in an Investment Management firm </li><li>Advanced in AWS, Java, React JS, and JavaScript </li><li>Advanced functional knowledge and experience of Private Equity Business </li><li>Ability to manage technology work pipeline using Agile and SDLC </li><li>Written and verbal communication covering tech, product and business stakeholders </li><li>Executive presence and ability to influence Senior leaders in Private Equity Businesses </li><li>Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge in Python </li><li>Understanding of Data structures and data management </li><li>Experience using BI tools </li></ul>
