As of 31 December 2024, assets under management from consolidated and strategic businesses stood at more than €16.5bn.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Alantra is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to help support it's Industrials M&A and capital raising advisory business. The position will be located onsite in New York.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience with the ability to immediately and meaningfully impact the team, while also engaging thoughtfully with Alantra's training and onboarding practices.</p> <p>Analysts are given substantial responsibility and are highly productive in helping grow the business. The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative, outgoing, and possess a strong background in finance and accounting.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and author pitch materials </li><li>Prepare client presentations and deal documents, including but not limited to teasers, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations </li><li>Conduct extensive financial and valuation analyses </li><li>Build advanced financial models that help establish suitable capital structures, financial covenants, and sensitivity to key variables </li><li>Produce comprehensive industry and company-specific research </li><li>Develop marketing strategies, conduct buyer outreach and target approach </li><li>Manage due diligence and provide transaction support </li><li>Support transaction negotiations </li></ul> <p>Why Alantra</p> <p>Alantra offers a unique experience for Analysts to advise both domestic and international clients and to work with global colleagues on cross-border transactions. Focus in business, finance, accounting or similar preferred. </li><li>Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising with the ability to apply skills creatively to a diverse set of clients' needs </li><li>Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses </li><li>Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters; strong analytic skills, specifically DCF's and LBO's, and the ability to talk through previous deals comprehensively </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills </li><li>Outstanding written and oral communication skills </li><li>Excellent analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills </li><li>Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently </li><li>Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables </li><li>Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>FINRA Series 79/7 and 63 licenses are required, or to be obtained within the first six months of employment </li><li>Location: New York, NY </li><li>Start Date: Immediate </li></ul>
