This position is part of our Proposals quoting team, supporting TAES Tennessee site.</p> <p>Detailed Description: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Analyze and quote materials using customer-provided data inputs, including Bills of Materials (BOM), approved manufacturer lists, custom design specifications, testing requirements, and scope of work data packages. </li><li>Review and interrupts customer drawings/prints. </li><li>Organize data packages to communicate Request for Proposals with suppliers. </li><li>Coordinate and communicate with suppliers to secure best pricing and delivery lead times through RFPs via quote software, email and phone. </li><li>Collaborates with internal team members and suppliers to extract information to meet RFP deadlines. </li><li>Create and utilize spreadsheets for detailed materials pricing reports. </li><li>Work under the direction of the Material Sourcing Manager and collaborate with other team members to ensure quote accuracy. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>3+ years of experience in electronics in purchasing, supply chain, and/or electronics component distribution. </li><li>Microsoft Excel skills. </li><li>Experienced in reading and understanding customers' Bills of Materials, Drawings/Blueprints, Electronic Data, and Specifications. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication, Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word). </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with quoting software such as CalcuQuote, QuoteWin, and Silicon Expert. </li><li>Previous experience in aerospace and defense industries. </li><li>Knowledge of SMT manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
