Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <p>Education and Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required </li><li>Master's Degree: Preferred </li><li>Seven years' related experience: Preferred </li><li>Five years' leadership experience: Preferred </li><li>Five years' ambulatory or other related nursing experience: Preferred </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Provides support and leadership in the areas of clinical performance and process improvement, guidance and/or facilitation in response to risk, safety, and licensing issues for the organization. </li><li>Oversees development and management of medical group policies and standards in an outpatient healthcare setting. </li><li>Participates, with other senior ambulatory personnel, in the analysis, planning and strategy formulation of ambulatory entity goals and the implementation of plans and programs; analyzes practice operations and needs to determine potential enhancements or improvements to procedures and activities. </li><li>Determines departmental fiscal requirements and approve budgetary recommendations for assigned practices; monitors and verifies reconciliation of expenditure of budgeted funds. </li><li>Establishes major schedules, task assignments and allocation of manpower, space and equipment to ensure conformance with commitments for assigned ambulatory clinics/practices. </li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Organizational Requirements:</p> <p>Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
