<p>The Student Services Coordinator role supports the Student Services department by offering a diverse range of activities designed to enhance student engagement and foster professional development.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Offers placement assistance and career development support to students and graduates. </li><li>Coordinates and facilitates student activities such as but not limited to including student appreciation days, career fairs and annual graduation ceremony. </li><li>Conducts and schedules monthly workshops on topics such as interviewing, resume writing, time management and professionalism. </li><li>Resume reviews and assistance. </li><li>Delivers exceptional customer service to students and handles their requests in a timely manner. </li><li>Cultivates and maintains relationships with employers. </li><li>Develops and updates student services bulletin boards, job boards and the online career center database. </li><li>Facilitates on-campus recruiting events with employers. </li><li>Prepares monthly departmental calendars detailing meetings, events, student activities and guest speakers. </li><li>Oversee the creation of semester newsletters. </li><li>Offers referral services to students for health insurance, housing, day care, transportation and other community resources. </li><li>Maintains accurate records and documentation. </li><li>Coordinates and facilitates Student Government Association/Phi Theta Kappa meetings and assists with other student organization meetings accordingly. </li></ul> <p>The student Services Coordinator must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and have at least two years of related experience.</p> <ul> <li>Must have Instagram, Social Media and Canva experience </li></ul>
