<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Electronic Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and testing electronic control modules.</p> <p>Shift: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm</p> <p>Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li>Learn & follow detailed work instructions </li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities listed below </li><li>Check tag and test unit for failure </li><li>Find and review schematic and board prints </li><li>Troubleshoot board </li><li>Repair board by using test equipment and replacing parts with soldering equipment </li><li>Retest to ensure board passes </li><li>Keep log of units repaired in CMS system </li><li>Participate in various improvement activities </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers </li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team member </li><li>Schematic reading and layout drawing reading </li><li>Demonstrate proper use of DVM, oscilloscope, tracker and other diagnostic tools </li><li>Ability to identify different types of electronic components </li><li>Commitment to meeting production demands and quality requirements </li><li>Understand Customer requirements as they relate to their job function </li><li>Ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances </li><li>Ability to get to work on time with minimal absences </li></ul> <p>Education / Experience</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar discipline and/or equivalent military experience </li><li>Soldering experience </li></ul> <p>Nearest Major Market: York PA</p> <p>Nearest Secondary Market: Lancaster</p> <p>Job Segment: Electronic Technician, Electronics Engineer, Electronics, Electrical, Technician, Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology</p>
