Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Clinical Manager is the clinical and business leader of a specific patient care unit(s) with accountability for planning, organizing, staffing, coaching and motivating a professional team so that safe and effective care is delivered. The Clinical Manager is responsible for operations, employee management, financial management and the clinical outcomes of the unit(s). The Clinical Manager provides direction and vision for the department (s) and exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with policies and procedures. This position works closely with all multidisciplinary team members to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always followed by keeping the care and safety of the patient population as a top priority. Responsible for working with Director of Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehab Operations in providing leadership and support for direct management and leadership of Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation.</p> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Required Job Qualifications:</p> <p>License: Must be licensed and currently registered to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of IL</p> <p>Education: Earned RT/Healthcare management degree at the baccalaureate level or higher required</p> <p>Certifications: BLS and ACLS required</p> <p>Special Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, autonomy, and decision-making skills. High level of analytical ability and the skill to work in complex clinical systems required. Experience in program development and operations preferred. Ability to interact with all members of the interdisciplinary team and to build credible collaborative relationships. Able to work independently with effective follow through and accountability. Ability to use computer systems including electronic medical records, chart reviews, and programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point are highly preferred</p> <p>Experience: 3-5 years in Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation setting with</p> <p>progressive leadership responsibilities.</p> <p>Preferred Job Qualifications:</p> <p>Physical Demands: This job requires to be on your feet for extended periods of time with</p> <p>the ability to be able to lift up to 30 lbs. while working</p> <p>Competencies:</p> <p>Disclaimer: The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
