Guided by our values of integrity, respect, accountability and excellence, we use leading science and technology to move fiber-based packaging forward.</p> <p>Commercial Driver - Cleveland, OH</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>The Commercial Driver position for Packaging Solutions involves driving a company tractor and trailer to deliver product to our customers. Driver routes will typically be 4-10 stops per route, will require the driver to unload via lift gate with pallet jack, and transport/place palletized product inside the customers' location. Driver will be expected to use ELD and log all activity and follow all state and federal regulations. Routes are generally <150 miles round trip.</p> <p>How You Will Impact Packaging Solutions, a WestRock Company</p> <ul> <li>Safely operates tractor and trailer for the delivery of product and materials. </li><li>Perform vehicle inspections as required. </li><li>Operate mobile apps on phone for ELD and proof of delivery. </li><li>Provide outstanding customer service during delivery. </li><li>Follow all safety rules for equipment and material handling as required by DOT, OSHA and Company safety program. </li><li>Ensure all orders are delivered in good condition and in full as per the bill of lading. </li><li>Communicate effectively with operations staff about customer concerns. </li><li>Utilize material handling equipment, such hand trucks. </li></ul> <p>What You Need To Succeed</p> <ul> <li>Current CDL Class A license </li><li>Requires a current DOT Medical Card and a safe driving record. </li><li>3-5years of experience driving a tractor trailer and box truck experience </li><li>General fluency in English required, verbal and written </li><li>Basic computer literacy preferred </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
