<p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans that promote active learning using a direct and explicit model. </li><li>Develop lessons and assessments aligned with the district-approved curriculum. </li><li>Instruct and monitor students in utilizing learning materials in accordance with the district-approved curriculum. </li><li>Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures. </li><li>Maintain discipline by adhering to the school's rules and disciplinary systems. </li><li>Encourage and monitor individual student progress, using this information to adjust teaching strategies and provide appropriate feedback on student work. </li><li>Assign and grade classwork, homework, tests, and assignments. </li><li>Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of students' progress and development. </li><li>Update all necessary records accurately and thoroughly as required by laws, district policies, and school regulations. </li><li>Prepare required reports. </li><li>Participate in department, school, district, and parent meetings. </li><li>Communicate essential information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress. </li><li>Prepare the classroom for activities and maintain a safe and orderly environment. </li><li>Engage in appropriate professional activities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>B.A./B.S. degree in teaching from an accredited institution or in a related field. </li><li>Illinois State certification in teaching in the appropriate subject areas. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. </li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Proven ability to report to work regularly and punctually. </li><li>Meet professional teacher education requirements established by the school, district, and state. </li></ul> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>As per the salary schedule $49,166- $87,051</p> <p>Additional Notes</p> <p>The open position is 2nd grade.</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Email Resume and other information to:</p> <p>Daniel M.
