<p>Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948, Stonehill is a private Catholic college located just 22 miles from downtown Boston on a beautiful 384-acre campus in Easton, Massachusetts. In fulfillment of its motto, Lux et Spes ("Light and Hope"), the College cultivates in its students the competence to think, act, and lead with courage towards creating a more just and compassionate world.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position will be responsible for the day-to-day gift processing, constituent demographic data updates, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate data entry, gift processing, acknowledgement, and reporting.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Primarily responsible for the data entry of charitable gifts to the College in the Advancement database system. </li><li>Oversees aspects of the matching gift processing, including gift entry, and donation confirmation, as well as usernames & passwords for matching gift companies' confirmations. </li><li>Interacts with the Controller's Office to ensure proper gift processing. </li><li>Prepares gift acknowledgement/receipt correspondence. Prepares and generates all donor thank you letters & tax acknowledgments daily. </li><li>Tracks and processes In Memory Of, and In Honor Of acknowledgments and reporting. </li><li>Scans gift materials into the Advancement database system using document imaging functionality. </li><li>Enters and maintains constituent information and makes necessary updates in the Advancement database to ensure data accuracy and integrity. </li><li>Respond courteously and professionally to donor inquiries via phone or email. </li><li>Supports reporting processes for mailings, events, and donor giving for internal and community partners' use. </li><li>Maintains the Development Office Retention schedule and follows established retention plans. </li><li>Aids on data projects and performs related duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement Operations. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <p>Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
