At NYSTEC, we know that we succeed when individuals and teams flourish personally and professionally, so our benefits and perks support this mindset.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>As a senior consultant - project manager in the Policy and Program Strategic Solutions practice are, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support our clients through today's ever-changing healthcare landscape. NYSTEC is considered a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and connecting the dots for our clients.</p> <p>Your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include supporting multiple projects across offices within the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH). As a project manager, you will provide project coordination support to expand NYSDOH capacity by providing data driven insights and analyses for multiple programs. You will be supporting the New York Health Equity Reform (NYHER) Waiver, a new program within the New York State Medicaid Program.</p> <p>You should anticipate working from the client site - located in downtown Albany - at least once per week.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work alongside numerous stakeholder groups to elicit and document business requirements. </li><li>Coordinate and schedule meetings. </li><li>Update agendas and action items. </li><li>Maintain project status logs. </li><li>Provide project updates to the client. </li></ul> <p>About You:</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience as a project manager within healthcare, Medicaid, or other public sector programs, policies, or systems. </li><li>Experience updating, maintaining, and managing projects and project logs. </li><li>Experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC). </li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills. </li><li>Superior problem-solving and analytical skills. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in business, public health, health informatics, mathematics, public health, or a related discipline and five years of related experience. </li><li>An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and professional experience will be considered. </li></ul> <p>The pay range for this position is $79,793.00 to $109,716.00 per year.</p> <p>It is NYSTEC's policy to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all individuals, regardless of actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, sex, or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions), gender identity or gender expression (including transgender status), age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, protected medical condition as defined by applicable state or local law, genetic information, military service and veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal law and ordinances.
