<p>JEVS Human Services currently has an opportunity for an organized, team oriented individual to join our team at Orleans Technical College (OTC) as a Financial Aid Manager. OTC is JEVS' post-secondary, nonprofit career school that is committed to helping individuals achieve their employment goals.</p> <p>As a Financial Aid Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the operations of our Student Financial Services department. You will collaborate and report to the Director of Student Financial Services to ensure the efficient delivery of financial aid services to students.</p> <p>Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the prescreening process and scheduling of virtual financial aid appointments. </li><li>Develop creative solutions to address challenges in the financial aid process. </li><li>Assist students encountering complex financial aid issues. </li><li>Ensure accurate and timely data input in the financial aid software systems. </li><li>Verify that all required documentation for ISIRs is collected and processed. </li><li>Train financial aid officers on program eligibility and loan processing requirements. </li><li>Coordinate and conduct virtual entrance and exit interviews for students. </li><li>Manage digital documentation systems to maintain a paperless environment. </li><li>Collaborate closely with virtual admissions teams to meet enrollment goals. </li><li>Supervise and set performance standards for financial aid officers working remotely. </li><li>Keep staff informed about changes in financial aid policies and regulations. </li><li>Ensure compliance with federal and state financial aid laws and regulations. </li><li>Other duties related to job. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or 5 to 10 years of financial aid experience, particularly with Title IV aid and managerial responsibilities. </li><li>Proficiency with financial aid management software (e.g., Anthology, Campus Vue, ImageNow, Perceptive content. </li><li>Strong counseling and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proven ability to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and external partners. </li><li>Solid understanding of financial aid regulations and related laws, with the ability to make independent decisions. </li><li>Experience in, and appreciation for, a collective bargaining environment preferred. </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you:</p> <ul> <li>401(k), with company match </li><li>Tuition assistance: Available to all employees with at least one year of service, for those enrolled in job-related, accredited, degree or certificate level courses </li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision coverage </li><li>Ample paid vacation and sick time </li><li>10-12 paid holidays per year </li><li>Pre-tax commuter benefits </li><li>Continuing education, professional development opportunities, retreats, and training </li><li>Annual holiday party and office outings </li><li>Wellness workshops and activities and access to the Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Dress-down Fridays </li><li>Employee referral bonus </li><li>Reimbursement of eligible mileage and travel expenses </li></ul> <p>The base pay for this position ranges from $45,000 to $55,000. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
