If you are ready to create some magic, we invite you to explore our dynamic, yet unique, career opportunities.</p> <p>POSITION PURPOSE</p> <p>Under general supervision, performs general maintenance and repair work in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>(The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for this position.)</p> <ol> <li> <p>Works with and trains under other Engineers in the performance of daily job assignments, including basic mechanical, plumbing and electrical repair as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Operates in a safe manner power tools; welds materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform basic electrical installation and repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, power circuits and appliances; repairs lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines and drains; replaces washers and other minor parts; maintains and monitors plumbing systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Apply and prepare various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain; repairs wall coverings.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform basic rough and finished carpentry work in construction and repair of structures such as partitions, walls, doors, fences, window frames, office furniture, roofs, and shelves.</p> </li><li> <p>Repairs and maintains mechanical devices, motors and pumps.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps workshop orderly by cleaning tool boxes, putting away tools and parts, and straightening electrical storage area.</p> </li><li> <p>Installs and maintains all tile, marble floor materials, carpet, and carpet tiles.</p> </li><li> <p>Tours offices, and parking areas routinely to ensure adequate lighting in all areas; replaces lights throughout property as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete preventative maintenance task including air conditioning units and filters, lightening and electrical, toilets and plumbing.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain swimming pool and keeps log to document regular PH/chlorine testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned by management.</p> </li></ol> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age </li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license </li><li>Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite, and be knowledgeable about building management systems. </li><li>Must be experienced in one or more of the following trades: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and/or HVAC </li><li>Must be able to bend, lift, push and pull equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 100 pounds. </li><li>Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts. </li><li>Excellent guest service and communication skills. </li><li>Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality. </li><li>Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. </li><li>Regular and punctual attendance is required. </li></ul> <p>These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and 2 years related experience or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.</p>
