<p>Manager, Outreach, Retention & Engagement</p> <p>Department: Workforce Partnerships</p> <p>Location: Advanced Technology Training Center</p> <p>Reports To: Director of Employer Partnerships & Apprenticeship Programs</p> <p>Recruitment Type: External/Internal</p> <p>Requisition ID: req5909</p> <p>Employment Type: Full-Time Support Staff</p> <p>Union Position: Non-Union</p> <p>Work Schedule: M-F, 8:30am-5pm.</p> <p>Number of Openings: 1</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Through the grant-funded initiative, Reimagining Workforce Training in Northeast Ohio, this position contributes to growing innovative and highly accessible workforce training programs that build a diverse pipeline of workers prepared for jobs in Cleveland. The manager implements targeted outreach and retention strategies, focusing on increasing enrollment of underemployed and underrepresented individuals in key industries. Coordinates on-demand student assistance stipends to support workforce student retention and collaborates with college leadership and industry leaders to drive "just-in-time" curriculum innovation through rapid response efforts. Partners with community-based organizations and other like-minded institutions to strengthen outreach and engagement.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supports the implementation and administration of the Reimagining Workforce Training in Northeast Ohio grant, with a focus on enhancing and developing innovative workforce training programs, fostering community partnerships and outreach, and supporting student retention initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Partners with deans, program managers, faculty and other College leadership to assess curriculum needs within their programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and emerging trends</p> </li><li> <p>Stewards funding to support the enhancement of existing programs and the development of new workforce training initiatives that meet workforce needs throughout the surrounding community</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the creation and implementation of an equity-focused community outreach plan, leveraging existing partnerships and success strategies to connect unemployed, underemployed and underrepresented individuals to workforce training programs</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with the Workforce Partnerships Team, including the Workforce Recruiter and other college leaders to ensure internal alignment and a unified approach to recruitment</p> </li><li> <p>Partners with and supports the Director, Student Support Services in coordinating and managing retention activities to ensure the success of workforce students.
