The Data & Analytics team drives data-driven decisions and innovations across Workiva.</p> <p>As a Strategy & Analytics Lead at Workiva, you will serve as a technical leader and strategic partner within the Decision Science team. While a Senior Analyst masters the how of data, a Lead Analyst defines the what and the why. You will operate at the intersection of deep technical architecture and executive-level business strategy, driving the evolution of our data ecosystem. You will be responsible for high-impact initiatives that influence the trajectory of our Data & Analytics organization, ensuring that our insights are not just accurate, but transformative.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Advanced Data Strategy & Analysis</p> <ul> <li> <p>Architect Complex Insights: Lead the end-to-end design of sophisticated analytical frameworks. You won't just analyze datasets; you will define the methodologies that allow us to measure the health of the entire Workiva engine</p> </li><li> <p>Proactive Discovery: Act as a "data scout," identifying latent patterns and business risks before they reach the executive radar. You will mentor others on the Decision Science team in best practices for data flow logic and reproducible research</p> </li><li> <p>Democratization & Mentorship: Partner with Data, Analytical Engineering, Data Product Managers and stakeholders to design curated data layers. You are a culture-carrier, mentoring senior and mid-level analysts to elevate the collective "data IQ" of the company</p> </li><li> <p>Innovation: Pioneer the adoption of new BI tools, ML integrations, and analytical methodologies to keep Workiva at the cutting edge of Business Technology</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>6+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related technical role</p> </li><li> <p>Deep understanding of SaaS business models and how analytics drives business outcomes</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading cross-functional data projects in the technology sector</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Communication: Elite presentation skills; ability to command a room of executives and simplify the complex without losing the nuance</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to manage high-ambiguity projects, balancing immediate business impact with long-term technical debt and scalability</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Mastery: Expert-level SQL and deep experience with modern data stacks (Snowflake, Airflow, dbt).
