<p>The Position</p> <p>Budget Analysts prepare and implement budgets including the development of expenditure projections, narrative justification of programs, and detailed biennial spending plans; review and analyze budget requests and adjustments; and ensure compliance with budgetary directives, policies, regulations and limitations.</p> <p>The Office of Project Management is recruiting for a Budget Analyst 3 in Carson City. The incumbent will assist on the Chart of Accounts redesign; managing requirements scope, identifying state subject matter experts, coordinating participation of state finance subject matter experts, reviewing functional deliverables, providing status updates, and coordinating test execution. The incumbent will need a strong understanding of state general ledger accounting principles and processes as well as Project Accounting within the state so as to successfully participate in application design and requirement development sessions, participate in configuration activities for their respective areas, support testing activities, support training activities, assist in identifying project risks and issues, participate in deliverable reviews as needed, organize meetings, prepare status updates, and present to varying levels of leadership as required.</p> <ul> <li>THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED.
