<p>As an Extrusion Assembly Operator you have to cut, assemble, clean and package aluminum extrusions and other materials according to the work schedule and work processes.</p> <p>Currently there is an opening for an Extrusion Assembly Operator in our Panels division on 1st shift (Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 2:30PM):</p> <p>Panels Extrusion Cut, Assemble and Pack: Starting at $18.90 per hour on 1st Shift!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Gather extrusions and cutting materials to cut jobs according to work orders. </li><li>Verify correct quality, color, and material to be used. </li><li>Measure and cut extrusion as stated in work order and illustrated on blueprint. </li><li>Monitor saw and make adjustments as necessary. </li><li>Notify Supervisor/maintenance of any equipment concerns immediately. </li><li>Perform dimensional inspections and inspect for cosmetic flaws on finished cut product. </li><li>Assemble extrusions using hands and hand tools, including air and electrical tools. </li><li>Clean, bag and seal parts, build crates and pack finished products. </li><li>Fill out shipment info forms and attach shipping labels. </li><li>Completes necessary paperwork (time sheets and team boards). </li><li>Fill out DMNs for any defective products. </li><li>Assist other departments as necessary. </li><li>Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned. </li><li>Continually looks for a way to improve job efficiency and performance </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. </li><li>Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery. </li><li>Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Mechanically inclined </li><li>Ability to work overtime. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). </li></ul>
