Become a maker of possible with us.</p> <p>Summary of Position:</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to ensure timely and accurate movement of product through manufacturing operations.</p> <p>Responsibilities of Position:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Utilize forklift to move pallets of raw materials or finished products throughout warehouse/manufacturing facility;</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure proper storage and handling of all products;</p> </li><li> <p>Follow safety guidelines when operating forklift and maintaining work area;</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain neatness and order in work area;</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with quality standards and procedures;</p> </li><li> <p>Perform inventory control duties as required;</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of Position:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience using stand-up lifting equipment (forklifts) preferred but not mandatory;</p> </li><li> <p>Successful completion of forklift training program;</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift heavy loads (50 lbs +);</p> </li><li> <p>Able to operate within tight spaces;</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English language;</p> </li><li> <p>Good attendance record;</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent time management skills;</p> </li><li> <p>High level of initiative and ability to take on new challenges;</p> </li><li> <p>Strong problem solving skills;</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of team.</p> </li></ul> <p>At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
