Minimum 4 years of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years. </li><li>OR Master's degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years. </li><li>OR 12 or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with environmental analytical data verification, validation, and management. </li><li>Strong understanding of laboratory chain of custody, sample and laboratory QA/QC requirements and procedures. </li><li>Working knowledge of computer software programs such as MS Excel, MS Access, Power Point, MS Word, and SharePoint. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with a variety of customers is preferable. </li><li>Bachelor's in chemistry, engineering, environmental science/biological science, or equivalent technical area with 5-10 years of direct experience working in an analytical laboratory setting, or master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience. </li><li>Strong background in MS Access use and programming. </li><li>Familiarity with Oracle databases, experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS generic) and statistical software for data analysis (e.g. SAS, SAS JMP or similar) </li></ul> <p>Why Y-12?</p> <p>You get #morethanajob. Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.</p> <p>This position may be categorized as a "designated position" identified by 10 C.F.R. Part 709, requiring successful completion of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation that may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.</p> <p>CNS is a drug-free workplace.
