<p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone every day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics. </li><li>Establish and maintain meaningful, effective, professional relationships with childcare programs, staff, parents, and children (age 6 & under); </li><li>Exemplify self-discipline and self-awareness; </li><li>Conduct assessment services and behavior intervention plans at teacher/program request; </li><li>Assist early childcare staff with environmental design, and development of curricular and behavioral cues; </li><li>Provide supportive interventions with young children; </li><li>Promote a climate which fosters resiliency and positive social, emotional and behavioral development; </li><li>Provide consultation services for early childhood programs, and provide coordination and referral to community services as needed; </li><li>Facilitate parent training groups and teacher continuing education programs; </li><li>Provide parent consultations and strengthen parent involvement; </li><li>Participate productively in a multi-disciplinary team; </li><li>Communicate effectively utilizing listening skills; conversing both verbally and in writing; </li><li>Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, E-mail & internet; </li><li>Operating business machines including copier, computer and fax; </li><li>Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills. </li><li>Relating to other persons and tolerating personal differences in values and opinions which include sensitivity to the county's service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics; </li><li>Interacting appropriately in a host setting and working cooperatively with staff members; </li><li>Abiding by the APA, ACA, or NASW Code of Ethics; </li><li>Demonstrating respect and dignity of other staff, clients, and other professionals; </li><li>Acting as an advocate for young children, their families, and early childcare providers; </li><li>Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required. </li><li>Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging. </li><li>Present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's LSW, and experience working with children ages 0-6 and their families preferred. </li><li>Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a related field, licensure as PC, PCC, LISW preferred. </li><li>ECMH credential preferred. </li><li>Experience working with early childhood programs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Mission driven; strong desire to make an impact </li><li>Effective interpersonal skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people </li><li>Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment </li><li>Flexible; able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends, as desired to meet the needs of clients </li><li>Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently. </li><li>Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required. </li><li>Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records, etc. </li><li>Must be able to access work locations, offices, and homes as necessary, which may include ascending/descending stairs. </li><li>Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with a safe driving record and valid insurance. </li><li>Successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and any other required assessments, such as a physical examination and TB test. </li></ul> <p>Benefits include:</p> <ul> <li>Free CEU trainings </li><li>Competitive medical benefits including a zero-premium monthly option for employee or employee + children! </li><li>10 paid holidays 2 to be used as floating holidays </li><li>Flexible work schedules to support work/life balance </li><li>Flexible work opportunities to support varying career paths, job roles, intern to hire, and locations </li><li>401(k) with employer match option </li><li>Employment Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>Mileage reimbursement </li><li>Free licensure supervision </li><li>Recognition and rewards </li></ul> <p>At OhioGuidestone we care about the health and safety of our employees.
