Will ensure that the team maintains a high level of excellence in technique, performance and community engagement, while also overseeing the administration, operational and recruitment aspects of the program. The role requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about dance and fostering a positive team culture.</p> <p>Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education and/or experience. </li></ul> <p>Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Dance, Sports Management, or Education. </li><li>Extensive experience in collegiate-level coaching, choreography and team management </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of dance technique, performance and competition preparation. </li><li>Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with athletes, staff and administrators </li></ul> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>Lead team including preparing, scheduling and running 10-15 hours of practice per week, from mid-July to March. Scheduling and working all home football games and basketball games as needed. Oversee team preparations for National competitions. Oversee all choreography needs for the team for game day routines, sideline routines and national routines.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 40 Job Duty</p> <p>Working collaboratively with appropriate departments, will perform duties associated with the administrative side of the program. This includes marketing and social media efforts, uniform/supply purchases, travel needs, mid-season and end of year reviews and developing alumni engagement strategies.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty</p> <p>Working in conjunction with the Associate Director of Marketing and Head Cheer Coach, will assist the in the planning of various spirit days, camps, banquets and other team events.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 10 Job Duty</p> <p>Working in conjunction with the Associate Director of Marketing and Head Cheer Coach, will assist in developing fundraising opportunities for the team including through camps, alumni relationships and community involvement.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 10 Job Duty</p> <p>Responsible for leading recruiting efforts for the team.
