This role supervises procurement staff, supports vendor management, ensures adherence to purchasing policies and procedures, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to meet organizational needs.</p> <p>Why join Sanimax?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Competitive salary and bonus potential of up to 10%</p> </li><li> <p>Full benefits to include Health, Dental, Vison, Short/Long Term Disability and a matching 401K up to 5%</p> </li><li> <p>3% Quarterly Bonus</p> </li><li> <p>Opportunity for advancement</p> </li><li> <p>Stable and growing company that has been in business for 85+ years</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise, coach, and support procurement staff, including workload distribution, training, and performance management </li><li>Oversee purchasing activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and renewals </li><li>Ensure compliance with organizational policies, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements </li><li>Review and approve purchase orders within delegated authority </li><li>Coordinate competitive bidding, RFPs, and vendor selection processes </li><li>Monitor supplier performance, pricing, delivery, and service levels </li><li>Resolve procurement issues, discrepancies, and vendor concerns </li><li>Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to forecast purchasing needs </li><li>Assist with contract negotiations and cost-saving initiatives </li><li>Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting </li><li>Support audits and ensure proper documentation and internal controls </li><li>Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Direct supervision of procurement specialists, buyers, or clerical staff </li><li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback </li><li>Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of procurement staff </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) </li><li>3-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience </li><li>Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred </li><li>Knowledge of procurement principles, contract management, and supplier negotiations </li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems and Microsoft Office </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>Give meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!</p> <p>Follow us on LinkedIn</p> <p>Thank you for your interest in joining our team.
