They are now looking for a Senior Accountant.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$50/hr - $55/hr</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the organization's financial operations through accurate reporting, general ledger management, and compliance with accounting standards. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process, financial analysis, and process improvements, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. </li><li>Lead or support the month-end and year-end close process. </li><li>Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. </li><li>Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making. </li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP (or applicable standards such as IFRS). </li><li>Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. </li><li>Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits. </li><li>Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls. </li><li>Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work. </li><li>Support special projects, system implementations, or process improvements. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience. </li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP (or IFRS if applicable). </li><li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar). </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>CPA or progress toward certification preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
