<p>Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking an Ideal/Datacom SME.* 5+ years of hands-on experience with CA IDEAL and CA Datacom in mainframe environments</p> <ul> <li>Proven expertise in developing, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale enterprise applications using ideal/Datacom </li><li>Strong coding and testing experience in IDEAL/DATACOM and COBOL/CICS/DTACOM combinations </li><li>Experience in production support and maintenance </li><li>Experience with JCL, CICS, COBOL, VSAM, and batch processing in a mainframe environment </li><li>Knowledge of Datacom QDRY and DB utilities, along with performance tuning expertise </li><li>Experience in mainframe testing tools, version controllers and job schedulers, such as Xpeditor, Endevor, Control-M, etc. </li><li>Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis </li><li>Ability to resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders, technical teams, and non-technical users </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with modernization of legacy systems, including migrations or integrations with more modern platforms </li><li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools </li></ul>
