<p>The School Counselor in a small school serves all students (PK-12 or assigned grade levels) by providing academic, social-emotional, and college/career guidance. This position requires flexibility, strong relationships with students and families, and the ability to manage multiple roles within a small school setting. The counselor supports student success while ensuring compliance with Oklahoma State Department of Education guidelines and state requirements.</p> <p>Provide career exploration opportunities</p> <p>Assist with college applications, scholarships, and financial aid</p> <p>Coordinate career days, college visits, and workforce readiness activities</p> <p>Assist with scheduling and master schedule development</p> <p>Support discipline and behavior interventions</p> <p>Help coordinate testing and accountability reporting</p> <p>Perform additional duties as assigned by administration</p> <p>Required Qualifications Valid Oklahoma School Counselor Certification</p> <p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</p> <p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities</p> <p>Experience in small school settings preferred</p>
