We provide industry-leading product solutions, system designs, and services for commercial and industrial building owners, government installations, schools, universities, hospitals, and other facilities where life safety, security, property protection, and reliable IT structured cabling systems are essential.</p> <p>Fire Alarm Technician</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire alarm and low-voltage systems. Duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Responding to service calls for troubleshooting and repair of existing equipment. </li><li>Programming and testing various low-voltage systems. </li><li>Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours service when assigned. </li><li>Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and operational/product manuals. </li><li>Carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Working in unusual and difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. </li><li>Using a variety of hand and power tools. </li><li>Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and their staff. </li><li>Working flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
