<p>The Lead Custodian will be responsible for coordinating the general upkeep support for all department buildings and offices by ensuring daily cleaning maintenance of the work environment for all staff and visitors on-site.</p> <p>Tasks & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Knows, understands, and follows all Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements. </li><li>Coordinating the cleaning of building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. </li><li>Gather and empty trash from all offices and department buildings </li><li>Service, clean, and supply restrooms. </li><li>Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. </li><li>Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using cleaning chemicals </li><li>Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. </li><li>Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. </li><li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. </li><li>Train and supervise contracted personnel on cleaning responsibilities; and create daily tasks schedules. </li><li>Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies. </li><li>Commute contracted personnel using a Kawasaki Mule. </li><li>Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. </li><li>Organize and keep track of all kitchen and cleaning supplies. Provide biweekly lists of supply counts and order requests. </li><li>Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings. </li><li>Performs other duties assigned as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Must be bilingual. </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license. </li></ul>
