Scripps ABC affiliate in Tampa, is seeking an experienced Executive Producer who will manage compelling newscasts and local programs across multiple platforms. This is your opportunity to lead a talented team in delivering impactful journalism that connects with our community.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage newscasts or local program content and showcasing across multiple platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with editors, producers and/or the assignment desk to select stories for coverage.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee and edit the writing of content, including but not limited to teases and web headlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and manage effective workflow strategies and procedures for multiple programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage pre-production to ensure quality and ethical standards and coordination between control room and design staf.f</p> </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED:</p> <ul> <li> <p>BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience</p> </li><li> <p>Generally, 5+ years previous news producing experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Prior managerial experience preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL BRING:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge and demonstration of editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to create tactics and strategies to increase demo performance in key target areas for multiple platforms</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws impacting operations</p> </li><li> <p>Flexible work hours may be required, including holidays, weekends and evenings</p> </li></ul> <p>WHERE YOU'LL LIVE, WORK AND PLAY:</p> <p>Tampa, Florida offers an unbeatable combination of career opportunity and lifestyle.
