Additionally, this role involves close collaboration with product development teams for implementation, engaging in individual and team-based internal research and development, responding to customer proposals, providing technical leadership, and advising product teams. Relocation package to Grand Rapids, MI is available.</p> <p>Salary: $150,000 up to $200,000</p> <p>Computing & Networking Systems Customer Application Engineer Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead in a technical development capacity.</p> </li><li> <p>Explore and implement processing architectures, focusing on interfaces, operating systems, multi-core determinism, and embedded processors for enhanced performance processing.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and integrate network end systems and switches, utilizing Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), UDP, TCIP, ARINC 664, IEEE 802.3/802.1 Ethernet, among other protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in computing and networking and TS new development</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the civil and military aerospace sectors to produce certified architectures.</p> </li><li> <p>Craft and evolve certifiable configuration tools for platform configuration, integration with model-based development tools, and security protocols.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelors Degree</p> </li><li> <p>At least 10 years' experience in Embedded Computing, Networking, Software, or Systems Engineering, or a similar capacity.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have aerospace/avionics industry experience</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with avionics design guidance documents such as RTCA DO-297, DO-178, DO-254, and SAE ARP4754, as well as aerospace certification guidance documents like SAE ARP4761.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of engineering processes including requirements definition, allocation, validation, verification, integration, embedded software, electronic systems, FAA/EASA/NAA certification, and system safety</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this Computing & Networking Systems Customer Application Engineer job in Grand Rapids, MI then please click APPLY NOW.
