The Aerospace, Defense & Aviation leadership team is focused on providing career development, training and exposure to international business assignments.</p> <p>How You Will Contribute</p> <p>We are seeking individuals that can assist in delivering large, complex client engagements by working closely with ADAS leadership to help identify, design, and implement creative business solutions.</p> <p>The Manager, ADAS frequently leads & delivers the following types of engagements.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leading teams through time-sensitive projects by structuring a performance improvement plan and managing the process through to completion.</p> </li><li> <p>Synthesizing meaningful insights from data, facts, and discussions with clients</p> </li><li> <p>Developing findings and making strategic recommendations</p> </li><li> <p>Working with clients directly to implement strategic and operational recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on, relevant experience through consulting or industry projects in several of the following areas and types of projects:</p> </li><li> <p>Flight operations</p> </li><li> <p>Airport Operations</p> </li><li> <p>Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Operations</p> </li><li> <p>Airline or aviation procurement (all areas)</p> </li><li> <p>Resource Planning</p> </li><li> <p>Network Planning</p> </li><li> <p>Revenue Management</p> </li><li> <p>Sales/Commercial/Distribution</p> </li><li> <p>Loyalty programs</p> </li><li> <p>Technology/IT/Digital</p> </li><li> <p>Air Cargo</p> </li><li> <p>Partners and regional carriers</p> </li><li> <p>Fleet and Financial Planning</p> </li><li> <p>G&A</p> </li><li> <p>Insourcing/outsourcing of services</p> </li><li> <p>Merger integration</p> </li><li> <p>OTP or other performance improvement efforts</p> </li><li> <p>Cost take-out</p> </li><li> <p>Cross-industry experience or demonstrated capability to work in a variety of ADAS sectors beyond aviation is a plus</p> </li></ul> <p>Professional skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong written, oral, and analytical skills </li><li>Sharp data analytics skills (data science, business intelligence, data visualization, etc.) </li><li>Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills </li><li>Structured project management (time, team, and workstream management) </li><li>Initiative, drive, and critical thinking skills </li><li>Intellectual curiosity and passion for developing new skillsets. </li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset and excited to develop new capabilities and client relationships. </li><li>Ability to deliver results on-time and on-quality under time pressure. </li><li>Flexible, creative thinking </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>7-10+ years of relevant work experience </li><li>Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time. </li><li>Previous professional consulting / operations experience with a recognized strategy consulting firm REQUIRED. </li><li>Depth in Airlines and Aviation preferred - cross ADAS experience ideal </li><li>Recent project leadership experiences </li><li>Experience working with PE and/or PE relationships a PLUS (personal or professional), especially related to Aerospace, Defense, Aviation & Space </li></ul> <p>Your journey at A&M</p> <p>We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person's unique professional and personal development. The possibilities are endless for high-performing and passionate professionals.</p> <p>The salary range is $125,000--$190,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
