We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager (Senior Manager) to support and implement inclusion initiatives in the US as well as supporting the implementation of inclusive business propositions in the North America region. In the role, you will have dual reporting lines to the Head of Inclusion US/GWAM and the Global Inclusive Business Lead.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and execute project plans for the implementation of inclusive business propositions across the North America region supporting the overall Inclusive Business global programme. This is a key company global strategy to drive inclusive business at Manulife. Some examples of current initiatives include:</p> </li><li> <p>Engaging with local market leadership and deploying inclusive propositions ie. HIV in life insurance and expanded beneficiaries; across all of Asia.</p> </li><li> <p>Organising and managing local design thinking sessions to develop diverse communities' customer propositions.</p> </li><li> <p>Managing and organising local customer market research to support business proposition.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize inclusive business opportunities in North America, in partnership with Asia.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive the implementation of strategies to promote inclusive business practices, fostering sustainable and impactful initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the development and implementation of Manulife/John Hancock's inclusion priorities, programs, and reporting processes in support of driving Manulife/John Hancock's business strategy forward.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Inclusion team's leadership to implement key initiatives and activations in the US.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate, partner and provide support to our various Colleague Networks in the US.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address any issues to ensure successful project delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide regular project status updates and reports to key stakeholders, including senior management and partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with project timelines, budget, and quality standards, maintaining a high level of project integrity and accountability.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proven experience in project management, preferably in the field of inclusion/culture, inclusive business or sustainable development.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of business practices in insurance in the North America region (specifically US), with a focus on inclusive and impactful initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, drive change, and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of inclusive business models, social impact strategies, and sustainable development goals is highly desirable.</p> </li><li> <p>PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>When you join our team:</p> <ul> <li> <p>We'll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.</p> </li><li> <p>We'll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.</p> </li><li> <p>As part of our global team, we'll support you in shaping the future you want to see.</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p> <p>#LI-JH</p> <p>About Manulife and John Hancock</p> <p>Manulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
