Description</p> <p>Human Resources Generalist Job Description</p> <p>Wage: $23+ / hour DOE</p> <p>Shift: Full-time, benefits eligible</p> <p>Benefits: Free Thanksgiving Point Membership for you and immediate family; medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurances; paid time off & holidays; 401(k); Employee Assistance Program; Financial Assistance Program; Thanksgiving Point venue discounts; and more!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with all levels of team members' life cycle including:</p> </li><li> <p>Onboarding and welcoming new team members</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain team member files and track celebrations</p> </li><li> <p>Help organize team member events and attend to team member needs</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with offboarding</p> </li><li> <p>Help ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws</p> </li><li> <p>Keep desk area, electronic and physical files organized and updated</p> </li><li> <p>Answer phone and email inquiries efficiently and professionally</p> </li><li> <p>Data entry of team member information into our timekeeping system</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with other HR duties such as Worker's Compensation, Payroll, and Trainings</p> </li><li> <p>Other general office duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director</p> </li><li> <p>Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values and Policies with curiosity, confidence, and compassion</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Two years of experience or training in HR or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>Payroll processing experience preferred </li><li>SHRM-CP preferred </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact and diplomacy </li><li>Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications such as MSWord, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint </li><li>Proficient in HR related subjects such as best practices, ADA, FMLA, and more. </li><li>High attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials </li><li>Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines </li><li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>At least 18 years old </li><li>Pass a background check </li></ul> <p>EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
