<p>Position: 5th/6th Grade Girls Volleyball Head Coach</p> <p>Reports to: Athletic Director & Varsity Volleyball Head Coach</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The 5/6 Grade Volleyball Coach introduces basic volleyball skills and builds excitement for the sport.</p> <p>The focus is on fun, confidence-building, and personal development.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Some volleyball experience preferred, but not required </li><li>Maintaining communication with administration, parents, and varsity staff is essential </li><li>Great recruiter/retention skills for your program </li><li>Agreement with TPCS Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads: Traders Point Christian Schools is committed to developing and maintaining an athletic program that is Christ-centered, comprehensive, and competitive, and allows each athlete a unique venue to be a witness for Christ by using his or her God-given talent to move and play. </li><li>Ability to encourage young athletes </li><li>Must pass a background check </li><li>Must provide proof or be willing to take CPR training </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Teach introductory volleyball fundamentals </li><li>Promote positive, Christ-centered sportsmanship </li><li>Will to run successful summer camps </li><li>Maintain communication with families </li><li>Supervise athletes at all times, until the last one leaves any organized event that the team is a part of </li><li>Support alignment with upper-level volleyball coaches </li><li>Follow inventory check-in & check-out policies with uniforms </li><li>Plan team banquet and awards </li><li>Reports all game results to staff before 8 am the next day after the contest finishes </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>This position is:</p> <ul> <li>1099 contractor </li><li>Paid by stipend </li><li>For the Fall 2026 athletic season </li></ul>
