<p>Overall Job Summary</p> <p>This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of leave of absence (LOA) processes on behalf of eligible team members in compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations and Tractor Supply Company (TSC) policy.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)</p> <ul> <li>Administer LOA requests for eligible team members by establishing new leaves, tracking status of existing leaves, and communicating with team members and managers regarding the status of leaves. </li><li>Identify and resolve day-to-day problems within the parameters defined by established TSC and department policy, as well as past precedents that are applicable to LOAs and disability income. Refer questions and situations that are outside of established company policy and practice to management for further direction. </li><li>Serves as the point-of-contact for team members and supervisors regarding LOAs and related processes. </li><li>Enter Team Member specific data into the LOA system to establish a leave. </li><li>Monitor LOA email mail box, respond to inquiries, and e-file electronic documents in accordance with department policy. </li><li>Monitor the LOA incoming phone line responding to all calls on a timely basis. </li><li>Administer the payroll process for Team Members who are on leave including payment of regular sick pay, extended sick pay and vacation pay as appropriate. </li><li>Coordinate with third-party insurance carrier regarding short-term disability claim status and questions. </li><li>Process team member premium payments received while on leave including the processing of delinquent payments and no payments. Correspond with team members as needed. </li><li>Coordinate with various internal business partners in FMLA, Workers' Compensation, TSC Company LOA, Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA) accommodations, and termination of employment processes. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience: 1 year of benefits experience is preferred.</p> <p>Education: High School diploma is preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.</p> <p>Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of ADP and Kronos </li><li>Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently. </li><li>Detail-oriented approach to work. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Normal office working conditions </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Sitting </li><li>Standing (not walking) </li><li>Walking </li><li>Lifting up to 10 pounds </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer</p> <p>This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
