He/she holds the ultimate responsibility for Pricing major tenders and for ensuring the most efficient and effective set-up of procurement activities between Regional and Local procurement efforts.</p> <p>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that rates are procured effectively, increasing our success rate when quoting both short- and long-term opportunities, while at the same time maximizing our profit margins </li><li>To negotiate and contract carriers in line with product and carrier strategy </li><li>To ensure targeted growth is achieved by working with global procurement and regional commercial parties </li><li>To support the country product teams when needed, on larger local accounts and long-term rates. </li><li>To help develop and execute a globally binding procurement strategy with clear split of responsibilities for procurement activities between countries and Global/Regional Reefer Management. </li><li>To ensure effective supplier relationship and participate with regular performance management of carriers </li><li>To drive ad-hoc projects and general product development </li></ul> <p>Specific Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Procure regional rates for short- and long-term reefer opportunities, within the APAC region </li><li>Work with commercial organization and global reefer team, to build and maintain an efficient quotation and procurement procedure. </li><li>Support with Regional Product performance reporting and analysis </li><li>Implement global carrier and procurement policy to support the product strategy </li><li>Partner with Key Countries and Vertical Markets for campaign and business development initiatives. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>8-10+ years of experience with Reefer Pricing and Procurement </li><li>Highly developed communications skills </li><li>In depth knowledge of Cold Chain transportation </li><li>Is result oriented and customer focused </li><li>Detail oriented, able to keep multiple separate processes and projects moving. </li><li>Develops long lasting relationships with providers, colleagues and customers </li><li>Self-starter </li></ul> <p>Please note: This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
