We build effective partnerships with co-workers throughout the College by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistance to all and maintain an environment that is welcoming to persons of all backgrounds, nationalities, and roles.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Union Affiliation: This position is governed by the APA Collective Bargaining Agreement</p> <p>Hours: 37.5</p> <p>Salary Range: $60,0000-$68,000 commensurate with experience.</p> <p>The Marketing Specialist, Enrollment Marketing, is a new and integral member of MassArt's MarCom team. This is a collaborative role reporting directly to the CMCO, and responsible for planning, implementing, and managing strategic marketing and communications projects that help drive both undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education program admissions and enrollment. With a strong understanding of the creative process and the unique value of art and design education, the Marketing Specialist develops multi-channel campaigns?including social media and digital initiatives?that connect authentically with prospective students and their families throughout the enrollment lifecycle.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Strategic Marketing:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing strategies that highlight MassArt's programs, people, and campus culture to support enrollment goals. </li><li>Collaborate closely with Admissions, Alumni, and academic departments to ensure messaging is aligned with MassArt's mission and the distinctiveness of a public institution of art and design. </li><li>Leverage audience insights, market trends, and knowledge of the art and design industry to shape campaign approaches. </li></ul> <p>Project Management:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage marketing projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely, high-quality, and on-brand deliverables. </li><li>Coordinate with Admissions and other internal partners, as well as external agencies and vendors as needed. </li><li>Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; proactively communicate updates and resolve challenges. </li></ul> <p>Digital and Social Media:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement digital campaigns across multiple channels (paid and organic social, email, web, and digital advertising) with a focus on engaging prospective art, design, and art education students at all levels. </li><li>Grow MassArt's presence on key social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.) by curating visually engaging, creative content that resonates with future artists, designers, and makers. </li><li>Monitor, analyze, and report on digital engagement and campaign effectiveness throughout the funnel; adapt strategies based on insights and analytics. </li></ul> <p>Content Creation and Storytelling:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Admissions, Alumni, students, and other college stakeholders to produce compelling stories that showcase MassArt's vibrant community, innovative programs, and impact in the creative economy. </li><li>Develop content that reflects the diversity and creativity of the MassArt experience, elevating student, faculty, and alumni voices. </li><li>Ensure consistency and authenticity of brand voice and visual identity across all channels. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, arts administration, or a related field; master's degree a plus. </li><li>3+ years of professional experience in marketing, with at least 1-2 years in higher education admissions, enrollment management, or the arts strongly preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated success managing integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social, and email marketing. </li><li>Understanding of creative communities and the unique value proposition of an art and design college. </li><li>Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. </li><li>Excellent written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency with digital marketing platforms (e.g., content management systems, social media management tools, analytics dashboards). </li><li>Collaborative mindset. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with CRM systems, enrollment marketing automation, or higher education admissions marketing. </li><li>Familiarity with the art and design industry, creative trends, and the higher education landscape. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Please note MassArt:</p> <ul> <li>Does not support employment-based visa sponsorship or non-student exchange visitor visa sponsorship. </li><li>Is not an E-Verify institution. </li></ul> <p>Selected candidates must be eligible to work in the US at the time of employment, complete all onboarding tasks including a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) background review and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US by completing the Form 19, Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.</p> <p>You are required to show proof of your identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of the start of your employment.
