<p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support plant-wide hardware and mechanical design needs. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment, machinery, and automation solutions. The Manufacturing Engineer will create technical designs, manage documentation, support supply chain initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, this role will provide engineering support to machine shop operations, ensuring efficient fabrication, machining, and assembly of components.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide engineering resources to plant wide hardware and mechanical designs needs</p> </li><li> <p>Create 3D Models and Technical Drawings of components and assemblies for manufacturing and procurement</p> </li><li> <p>Be responsible for control and release of drawings</p> </li><li> <p>Actively participate in and lead hardware sourcing projects helping to support supply chain needs</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to multiple projects from a mechanical design and development perspective</p> </li><li> <p>Participate as a member on development of projects and in team meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Develop complete machinery, equipment, and automation solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Stay current with new material, manufacturing, and 3D design software practices</p> </li><li> <p>Be responsible for investigation in mechanical failures of incoming products</p> </li><li> <p>Be responsible for updating of manufacturing parts BOM and initial part setup in plant-wide systems</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience using 3D modeling software for the design of mechanical systems and engineering drawings, preferable Siemens NX but can be trained.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience and knowledge reading and applying GD&T</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of various fabrication processes including CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding.</p> </li><li> <p>4+ years of applicable experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn and develop hands-on experience.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with SAP preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Machine shop and practical mechanical skills a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with CNC programming a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience resolving manufacturing issues with fabricators</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in a High Volume Manufacturing Environment</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and automation technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to collaborate within a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with basic troubleshooting techniques for mechanical or production equipment is a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Details</p> <p>This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
