<p>Description</p> <p>The Department of Revenue for St. Louis County Government seeks a highly motived and detail-oriented individual to fill the Manager, Revenue Services, role on their team. Learn more about the program: Public Service Loan Forgiveness | Federal Student Aid </li></ul> <p>Examples of Duties</p> <ul> <li>Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures and prepares related activity reports for management. </li><li>Manages, directs, coordinates, and supervises customer service counter staff. </li><li>Develop and implement written operating procedures, policies, and standards. </li><li>Develop division's budget to assure all budgetary line-item guidelines are met and expense accounts are properly maintained. </li><li>Ensures proper staffing for expected workloads at all times. </li><li>Responds to escalated taxpayer inquiries and complaints. </li><li>In conjunction with other Collection Division Managers, completes office-wide projects and activities including developing the division's budget. </li><li>Perform other duties as required or assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree </li><li>At least three years of related professional work experience </li><li>The work rules for the Department of Revenue require all employees, whether they reside in St. Louis County or elsewhere, to remain current in the payment of their personal and real property taxes </li><li>Preference may be given to applicants with the following experience: </li><li>Banking </li><li>High level customer service </li><li>Cash handling </li><li>Government / Public Sector </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <p>Manager: 1) coordinate unit's strategies and activities, 2) develop and implement unit policies, practices, and procedures, 3) delegate responsibility for daily operations to subordinates, 4) confer with peers to plan and coordinate work and 5) prepare and sign performance appraisals.</p>
