Celebrating over 50 years of service with industry - leading retention - more than 90% of both customers and staff choose to stay with us!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.) </li><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, etc.) </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations </li><li>Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system </li><li>Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers </li><li>Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked </li><li>Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner </li><li>Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service </li><li>Follow all safety regulations and company policies </li><li>Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience </li><li>D2/S2 or higher license is highly preferred (must be willing to obtain) </li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required </li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills </li><li>Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently </li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions </li><li>Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters </li><li>Own industry standard hand tools </li><li>Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed </li><li>EPA Universal certification preferred </li></ul> <p>Compensation Transparency</p> <p>The advertised pay range for this position is $45-$55 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications.
