If so, we'd like you to join our team as a Receiving Manager.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage and hire a team of warehouse teammates.</p> </li><li> <p>Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback and development.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage, schedule, and train warehouse teammates assigned to the Receiving Team to ensure safe and efficient operation of all receiving functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner and maintain required records in conformance with company policy.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise the unloading of trucks, checking in of material, and stocking of product in accordance with prescribed warehouse operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep abreast of new warehousing methods and train your assigned team on new methods.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain the safety of warehouse operations in compliance with the company's Safety Standards, OSHA and any other applicable regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Resolve all receiving disputes quickly and effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>About You:</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years warehouse receiving and material handling experience</p> </li><li> <p>1+ year of leadership experience</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Our ideal candidate will also:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Be able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.</p> </li><li> <p>Have a comprehensive knowledge of and be able to apply and enforce OSHA, DOT, and other warehouse and material handling safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for sales and warehouse operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to learn Microsoft Office Outlook to communicate via email.</p> </li><li> <p>Read, write, speak, and understand English.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</p> </li></ul>
