If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion to serve others, the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa may be your perfect match.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Laundry Room Attendant is to ensure that all Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa and Golf linen is clean and inventoried</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operating ironer and press </li><li>Fold linen to standard </li><li>Run necessary linens thru the reclaim process </li><li>Keep laundry room clean and neat. </li></ul> <p>HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Cross-training in proper as a Houseperson and Turndown. </li></ul> <p>MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager. </li><li>Assist in other departments as needed </li><li>Attend monthly departmental meetings </li></ul> <p>TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, sponges, dust cloths, etc. </li><li>Assorted cleaning chemicals as outlined in MSDS manuals </li><li>Housekeeping cart/caddy </li><li>Telephone and radio </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Housekeeping experience desirable </li><li>Neat and pleasant personality </li><li>Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively </li><li>Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions </li></ul> <p>Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
