<p>JOB TITLE: Senior Product Assurance Analyst (QA)</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Public</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Associate Director of Implementations</p> <p>JOB LOCATION: Remote</p> <p>TRAVEL: None</p> <p>SUMMARY OF POSITION:</p> <p>The Senior Product Assurance Analyst (QA) will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and usability of our software products. This individual will be responsible for testing, analyzing business requirements, and creating user-friendly training documentation. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, execute, and document test cases, test plans, SQL scripts, and scenarios to ensure software applications function according to user requirements. </li><li>Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine software functionality, recommend improvements, and complete additional testing. </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and testing processes. </li><li>Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. </li><li>Support the development team by clarifying requirements, assisting in prioritization, and validating that solutions meet business needs through user acceptance testing (UAT). </li><li>Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, including application evaluations, testing methods, and implemented improvements. </li></ul> <p>Training Documentation Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Organize and assist with creating and maintaining user guides, training materials, and FAQs for internal and external users. </li><li>Develop step-by-step instructional content and video tutorials as needed. </li><li>Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is up to date with software changes. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3-5+ years of experience in a QA or technical writing role. </li><li>Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and analyzing data. </li><li>Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. </li><li>Experience with QA tools (JIRA, Selenium, TestRail, etc.). </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation. </li><li>Strong collaboration and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related field or relevant work experience. </li><li>Experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry. </li><li>Familiarity with automation testing frameworks. </li><li>Prior experience conducting user training or instructional design. </li></ul> <p>Not currently recruiting from California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Rhode Island, Washington, or New York</p>
